PALESTINE — Jamie’s Therapeutic Touch Day Spa has designed special bridal spa packages and bridal parties for its customers.

“We have designed a variety of wonderful ways for you to look and feel beautiful as you begin your walk down the aisle,” Jamie’s Therapeutic Touch Day Spa owner Jamie Pettiette-Rhone said. “From massages to bridal makeup…from facials to fabulous body treatments, hair-styling and manicures to show off that ring, we lavish our brides-to-be from head to toe.”

• Bridal Parties — For bridal parties of four or more, we request a $25 deposit per person at the time the appointments are made. Deposits are refundable if appointments are cancelled 48 hours in advance.

“We strongly suggest brides schedule a trial appointment for makeup and hair, with veil and/or hair accessories, at least three weeks before the wedding. These appointments assure you'll have no surprises on your special day,” Pettiette-Rhone said.

When planning your wedding, Jamie’s Therapeutic Touch Day Spa offers the following hair tips:

Did you know that the season your wedding occurs in should play a huge part in your hairstyle decision? Spring brides should guard against humidity with ultra-moisturizing styling products and sleek, minimal pin-ups, braids and ponytails. Summer brides should avoid gel and consider cute crops and sweat-fighting updo’s.

Here a few packages and treatments for brides-to-be:

• Silky Smooth Bride Body Series — Five specalized Ionithermie treatments for the body helps take care of the body with a loss of up to one to eight inches and improvement in the smoothness of the skin.

• JTT Complete Bridal Package — This package ($380*) requires the bride to make two separate visits: At least one week prior to the wedding day the bride-to-be will enjoy a hydrating body polish and a European facial and a basic spa pedicure. The bride-to-be will continue with eyebrow shaping, and a trial hair style including veil placement and trial makeup application.** Approximately 3.25 hours.

Prior to the wedding, relax with a full body massage followed by a basic spa manicure. Jamie’s will complete the look with wedding hairstyle and makeup. Includes complimentary tube of lip color. Approximately three hours.

Or customize your day with your own choice of services. Ideas include: Bridal Style (includes veil placement)$70; bridal makeup $35; updo /formal style (for the bridal party) $55; makeup application (for the bridal party) $25; spa classic manicure $15; spa classic pedicure $30.

• For the Groom — The “For the Groom” package ($115*) starts with a full body massage, sauna session and sports manicure, then finish with a trim to tidy up for the wedding day. It is recommended to book this appointment the day before your wedding day. Approximately two hours.

For comfort, Jamie’s offers a choice of complimentary beverages throughout your visit.

To make your time with us even more convenient, the following services are available at a nominal fee:

• Outside catering (can be supplied with advanced notice)

• If you choose to provide you own refreshments, amenities such as eating areas and plates, glasses and silverware can be provided.
